Odd Hours
Odd Hours is Dan West’s original music score for the Yumi Umiumare and Takashi Takiguchi's collectively devised performance for the 2021 ButohOUT! festival.
Odd Hours was a multi-layered visual and psychological labyrinth where a 20-odd heterogeneous bunch of artists performed at the rustic, industrial grounds of the Abbotsford Convent. For this work, individual notions of ‘abnormality’ were transformed into movements, sound and mask/collage work culminating in a site-specific, illusionary installation work.
