Hushley’s music incorporates elements of ambient analogue drone, digitally processed instruments, field recording and word-based sound.
Hushley’s forthcoming debut four track experimental sound EP is inspired by interdisciplinary improvisations with seminal Japanese Butoh artist Yumi Umiumare. Listeners are invited to actively pause and embark on a sonic journey through four different body states – from the ears outward.
This release will be available as a limited edition run of 100 high definition compact disks with album artwork featuring photographic composites in response to each track by Melbourne visual artist Chris Parkinson.
